According to this mandate, people have to completely adopt advanced clean cars. For this, it has been decided in this mandate that every new car sold by 2035 will be electric

In the year 2021, the California Electric Vehicle Mandate was allowed to be adopted by the General Assembly of Virginia. It requires 35% of all new cars to be electric by 2026.

Governor Glenn Youngkin said Virginians are not obligated to follow the strict mandate, as violations could result in fines of up to $20,000 per car.
